As most of you know, I have been involved with Kairos Ministries for the past 15 years. On November 12th-15th, I will go into the prison & present God’s message to the participants who were chosen by God to be a part of the weekend. It is amazing how God works his magic, & to see how the lives are changed in accepting Christ as their savior & maintaining this relationship in that environment.
I have witnessed many men who have spent many years at Beto & are now in the free world. It works…
The cost for a Kairos weekend is between $16,000 & $18,000, & Kairos would appreciate any contribution you want to make. In the past, our class has made a $500.00 donation. You can make checks out to KPMI-TEXAS BETO. You can also attend the closing ceremony on November 15th. If interested, I will give you further details. (Instead of baking cookies, you can make a contribution.)
Thank you for your support.

Kairos Kookies
Homemade cookies are a tangible expression of Christian love and used as a symbol of God's agape love on a Kairos weekend. Because the cookies are going into a prison, directions must be carefully followed. Each person who bakes cookies does so with the best intentions, so we offer the following suggestions to ensure all cookies arrive ready for distribution in the unit. Broken or illegal cookies will be given to the community soup kitchen, so no cookies are wasted.
Suggested Cookie Recipes that freeze and travel well are shown below.
